Paddy's Day Swap
Yesterday Morning there was a rat-a-tat-tat at the door - postie with another parcel from my good friend Tavish! The theme was St Patricks Day. In the photo is a crocheted clover, two potholders, two coasters, 3 strings of beads, a ball of Vanna yarn, a packet of fudge mint biscuits (I've just eaten a third of the pack so I hope I can manage my dinner!) a lovely confection bag, a bar of Irish Spring Soap, a pack of peeps marshmallow chicks, a pair of clover socks and a St Patricks Day Card!

Swaps swaps swaps!
Whilst I've been offline, I've had some wonderful swap parcels sent to me. I've included some pictures here, there are still a few that need to be included!
This one is from JustAli, my 'Secret Sister'. JustAli took a bag pattern from my queue and sent some yarn, with the pattern for me to make the bag. She also sent some lavender hand cream and a nail file, which is kept never far away from me! The postcard is fab and is on the noticeboard in my knitting room.
This rather scrumptious collection of goodies, including a crocheted bag not only in my favourite colours but was especially designed for me by Annjellicle! I have used or eaten virtually everything! The sheep has pride of place on my mantlepiece in my room.
This is my Valentines parcel from Tavish! I had one or two of the Buffalo Wing Sauce pringles and HobbitKeeper polished them off with much glee, telling me how good they were! The goodies were eaten on the evening of Valentine's day. The pot holders are wonderful and really brightened up my kitchen.
This is me in the Valentines hat! The hat is very 'Me'!

There's Chickens Loose Aboot This Hoose!
Yesterday, whilst trying to catch up with all thin Interknitty, HobbitKeeper came in from the garden, to my surprise with Guess, my favourite chicken! And here she is with me in the rocking chair in the back room!
She is a very friendly and inquistive Chicken and being in the house did not upset her at all!
Below is Radar, Guess and What ready to take the jump into the garden for a run round and a peck at all things peckable!
Not a brilliant photo, but this is Radar, Guess, What and Sage having a shufty round.
The girls are doing really well (for them) with the egg production. Two days this week we've had two eggs, plus had more on other days. So far today, there has been one egg. I think it might be Roast's, but it is quite a big one. It was still very warm when I discovered it and Roast jumped off it.

I finally recieved my swap parcel early last week! I was assigned an Angel, as my original swapper flaked. My Angel was Maddy18, who did herself proud with the parcel she sent me!
The fingerless mittens are lush! They are ribbed with a cabel panel, in a very soft and warm yarn. The picture doesnt really do them justice. Maddy18 also sent a lavender bag kit fromThe Knitting Goddess, a ball of Rowan Kidsilk Haze with a pattern for a scarf/wrap/shawl, a flake, a tolberone, box of Twinings English Breakfast Tea, a mug with lavender and almond blossom on, a strawberry tape measure, an elephant purse with stitch markers in, a leaflet for the Isle of Wight and The New Forest, Lavender Bath Teabags, honeybuns flapjack and a card. I like everything and appreciate Maddy coming to my rescue!!
I've used the mug with the English Breakfast tea, had one lavender teabag bath (I also used some handmade soap that I was sent earlier, put clean bed linen on the bed and had a really good nights sleep!) eaten the flapjack, used the tape measure and have taken up the Kidsilk Challenge!

Tavish's Parcels are Opened!
On Christmas Morning, I opened my parcels from Paula, aka Tavish. The parcels were like a Tardis, with so much coming out of them! (Sorry the pictures are a little blurred). The Crocheted items are wonderful, I like them so much!
This is all the rest of the gifts Tavish sent!! I was bowled over by the amount of things!! Even gifts for my furbabies!
This is Rhinog getting stuck into his hide Candy Cane. He didn't stop till there was nothing left, he was one happy dog!
Ted enjoyed his candy cane as well!
I want to add more to this post, but I'm feeling the effects of the car accident........
