However, it isn't all doom and gloom. HK was outside yesterday evening and the mood came on him that he wanted to take some photos. After a bit of persuasion he agreed to go for a short car ride to see some places that I thought he might like. I didn't want to go to far or be out too long incase MJ woke up. We headed for Irton Flats first, then upto Irton Church. HK took all the photos. This is with Irton Church behind us

After Irton Church we hotfooted it to Gosforth to St Mary's church where I prouldly showed HK the wonderful Viking Cross there.
We were perhaps about an hour, and luckily MJ had stayed asleep.
